Laura brings almost 20 years of legal experience to this firm, including over 10 years spent as a trial attorney in Syracuse and New York City. Her primary areas of practice include employment law, human rights disputes and assisting individuals and businesses in the protection and enforcement of intellectual property rights. Laura has successfully represented both employers and employees in federal and state court litigation as well as administrative hearings. She counsels clients in the implementation of employment policies and procedures and guides them through the various federal and state labor and employment laws. Laura lectures and presents extensively in her areas of practice, and is an active member of several philanthropic organizations including WISE (Women Igniting the Spirit of Entrepreneurship), the Women's Fund of Central New York, and the Syracuse Symphony Association, where she helps administer the Sally Whittle Scholarship. She also serves on the board of the Central New York Chapter of the Women's Bar Association and the Fayetteville Free Library. Her professional memberships include the Onondaga County Bar Association and the New York State Bar Association's Labor and Employment Law Section. A graduate of the Pace University School of Law, Laura is admitted to practice in New York and Connecticut. She received her bachelor's degree cum laude from SUNY at Buffalo.
