A History of Successfully Defending Employees’ Rights

When you have been treated unfairly by an employer, it can be difficult to know where to turn. You may be afraid to lose your job, but unable to continue to work in an offensive environment. You may have lost your job unjustly, and be worried about how you’re going to pay your bills and take care of your family. There is a place to turn for help – put your trust in Sonneborn, Spring & O’Sullivan, P.C. and our employment law attorney, Laura L. Spring. Our experienced attorneys will defend your side in a dispute, helping you get the results you need and deserve.

Our firm has handled a variety of employment issues including:

  • Wrongful termination,
  • Sex, race, age, or disability discrimination or other unfair treatment,
  • Whistleblowing,
  • Employee contracts,
  • Non-competition agreements, and more.

Our firm has a history of engaging successfully in large, challenging cases. In Cifra vs. GE, our lawyers took on Lockheed Martin and General Electric in a wrongful termination suit. In Morris vs. CNY Centro, we represented an African-American man who felt his demotion was racially motivated.

For nearly 20 years, our principal lawyer for employee rights, Laura L. Spring, has been working hard to make sure employees are treated fairly. She has been very active in court, defending her clients’ rights in employee litigation. She has also been an active speaker and educator on employee rights, promoting awareness of the issues and helping employers plan ahead and comply with regulations.

In an effort to help educate our clients and potential clients about employment law, we have included important information in our Employment Newsletter.

Taking Cases We Believe In

As a matter of principle, our attorneys only take cases we believe in. We are selective, preferring to provide work of excellent quality to a few clients, rather than providing less service to a large quantity of clients. So, of course, we only take clients whose claims of employee mistreatment seem well-justified. Our attorneys are always available to answer your questions, and we work closely with you to make sure we are fulfilling your needs.
